NOLA BLISS MASSAGE

COVID-19 PROCEDURES JUNE 2020

The safety of our guests and therapists is our top priority. We are committed to meeting the highest sanitation and hygiene standards in our industry. To enjoy your experience to the fullest, we ask that guests be aware of the following standards and requests to help us ensure your safety and comfort as well as that of other guests and therapists. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns.

What to expect Before, During and After your Massage:

  • INTAKE AND CONSENT FORM:

We will ask everyone to fill out an intake form via email and sign an informed consent form that states, “I understand that close contact with people increases the risk of infection from COVID-19. By signing this form, I acknowledge that I am aware of the risks involved and give consent to receive massage from this practitioner.”
  • PRE-APPOINTMENT CHECK IN:

We will communicate with you the day before your appointment to obtain updates to your health information and ask you specifically about your potential exposure to COVID-19.
  • CANCELLATION POLICY:

We are suspending our regular cancellation policy so that if you feel ill or show symptoms on the day of your session, there will be no penalty for canceling your appointment. Please call as soon as you can to cancel. We reserve the right to refuse treatment to any client who, in our sole opinion, demonstrates known symptoms of Covid-19. If your scheduled therapist develops any symptoms on the day of your appointment we will do our best to provide an alternative therapist.
  • ARRIVING FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT:

Please do not enter the building more than 10 minutes before the time of your appointment. s.Upon entering the building, please proceed immediately to the new washing station on the first floor and thoroughly wash your hands before taking the elevator to the 3rd floor. Please do not share the elevator with any other clients not known to you and observe social distancing protocols while in the building. We also ask that you arrive promptly for your appointment, as our new sanitation protocols will not allow us to go over your allotted time. Unfortunately, you may not bring any non-client companions with you to the studio at this time.
  • FACE MASKS:

In accordance with requirements set by the City of New Orleans, a face mask is required upon entering the building and to be worn during your massage. If you do not have a face mask then one will be provided to you.
  • NEW WAYS OF GREETING:

Your therapist will greet you on the third floor with a Namaste and a bright-eyed smile (hugs and handshakes are on hold for now). You will be offered an opportunity to use the rest room before being escorted directly to your treatment room.
  • TEMPERATURE SCREENING & MORE QUESTIONS:

Your therapist will use a no touch thermal temperature screening to confirm that you don’t have a fever. Your therapist will ask you if you have developed any symptoms of illness since we spoke on the phone.
  • HAND SANITIZER:

You will find hand sanitizer in every room to use after your massage and as needed.
  • DURING YOUR MASSAGE:

Both you and your therapist will be wearing masks during your massage. You are requested not to remove your mask when facing upwards or on your side, however the mask can be removed while you are face down to aid breathing.
  • AFTER YOUR MASSAGE:

Once your massage has finished and you have dressed, we ask that you remain in the treatment room so that your therapist can take payment there. You will have an opportunity to use the rest room again as you are escorted to the elevator.
  • POST-MASSAGE COMMUNICATION:

If you develop any symptoms or are test positive to COVID-19 in the days following your massage, we ask that you inform us.
